There are options available if you are mobility challenged. So go. Cannot say enough how awe inspiring and humbling this place it. So many different things to look at and so many warriors. Unashamedly, I choked back tears when I saw the faces of the diggers and their horses up close. The artist captured that pain. Well worth the climb up the stairs.

A must visit in Albany it is free to visit is a nice walk to the top great views of Albany Harbour and plenty of history our Australians left here for Gallipoli you can drive up to the top and drop handicapped people off to see the memorial

A touching tribute to the Desert Mounted Corps and the soldiers of WWI and WWII. Climb the stairs or drive to the top. To reach the lookout above the memorial you will need to walk. Magnificent views across Albany, Princess Royal Harbour and King George Sound. No visit to Albany is complete until you’ve visited and paid your respects.
