A little underwhelming for the price. There's plenty of free historical sights which offer more. At $8pp they should be asking for gold coin donations

It was just a random road that we turned down likè normal... it has a old homestead just be mindful of where you walk around it because it's not signed very well and you have to pay to get in a walk trail and a big grassed area to were the kids out

There is a creek next to the house, you can walk along it, but nothing to see.

Beautiful location. The house is cute, the walk trails are well maintained. Loved all the signs at the front and the little diary they have in the waterfall walk. no waterfall though. Just small running water. The beach next to it and the river that meets it is stunning.

After a couple of days of low shrubs, windswept trees, rocks and sand Ellensbrook made a pleasant change. We came through early in the morning so nothing was open. Still, I wondered what it must have been like to live and work along this section of the coast. The walking trail turns inland here past the old homestead.

An interesting insight into the origins of the Margaret River region, named after Ellen Bussell who arrived at the site with her husband Alfred Bussell in 1857.They’ve recently completed a reinterpretation of the site and added new information boards and reestablished the water wheel.A lovely location, well worth a visit.

A bit disappointed as it seems a long vacant place with no one look after...besides there is so so so much flies.... Definitely not a place to visit during summer time. Probably winter would be a good time to visit next time.

Ellen brook its another word for serenity. It has a waterfall 30 mins from the house location and you’ve got a huge greenish space to look around and humming birds in spring. ✨
